The Board of Education appoints a Superintendent who is responsible for the general supervision of the school district by appointing Cabinet members to carry out the district's strategic plan, Strong Schools, Strong Communities.
The Superintendent works through the Office of Leadership Development (OLD) to develop instructional, racial equity, and servant leaders to have the will, skill, knowledge and capacity to raise achievement for all students.
