  • Operation Glass Slipper is giving away FREE prom dresses for juniors and seniors.  This event is on March 11 from 8:30 A.M. - 4:30 P.M. and March 12 from 9:30 A.M. - 3:00 P.M.

Post Secondary Enrollment Option (PSEO) Workshop - March 22 @ 8:30 A.M.

  • Want to earn college credit while in high school or FREE?   Come learn about PSEO on March 22, 2017 at 8:30 A.M.   This event is open to current students in grades 9-11.  Sign up with Ms. Ashley or your counselor.  An admissions representative from St. Paul College will be there to answer any questions.

Right Track - Summer Youth Employment Opportunity

  • Want a summer job?  If you are between the ages of 14 to 21 by April 1, 2017 and live in Saint Paul, you are eligible for the RIGHT TRACK program.  RIGHT TRACK connects youths with jobs (YJ01) and internships (YJ02) with a starting pay of $9.50/hr.  Last summer, over 600 youths received jobs and internships.

    Application Process:

    1. Apply at between February 1-28, 2017
    2. Attend an interview session (Dress up and bring resumes)
    3. Youths who are accepted for jobs (YJ01) will get notified by the week of May 1, 2017; Youths who are accepted for internships (YJ02) will get notified by the week of April 17, 2017

Personal Finance Summer Institute - June 26-30, 2017

  • The Minnesota Council on Economic Education is hosting the Personal Finance Summer Institute for students in grades 9-11 from June 26-30, 2017.  The summer program is held at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and focuses on future careers, paying for college, debt, savings, and credit.  Participants will receive free breakfast, lunch, bus passes and a $100 stipend for attending.  Priority is given to first in the family to attend college, low-income families, and students of color.
