Career Pathways
This section has been funded by the 2009 EL Civics Grant (with 2 units funded through the FastTRAC Bridge Project) and contains instructional and support materials that build English language, technology, work and soft skills within career-specific units of instruction. Units are appropriate for the following NRS levels:
Target Participants:
- High Beginning - Low Intermediate Basic Education:
- CASAS Reading scores of 201-220
- TABE Reading scores of 368-517
- Low Intermediate ESL - Advanced ESL
- CASAS Reading scores of 201-235
Food Safety: Intermediate ESL
In this section you will find the support and teaching materials (or references) necessary to implement a 15+ hour Food Safety unit. These materials include the following:
