CITIZENSHIP

  • Prepare for the Naturalization Test.
  • ELL Levels, A, B, C
  • Class is hyflex: meets online through Google Meet and/or in person at the Hubbs Center

COMMUNICATION B and C

  • Develop communication skills with speaking, listening, and writing practice and instruction.
  • Communication B: ELL B1 and B2 
  • Communication C: ELL C1, C2 and College Readiness
  • Class is available online and in-person 

CONVERSATION B and C

  • Develop speaking and listening skills through conversation practice and instruction
  • Develop vocabulary skills for communication
  • Classis available online and in-person
  • For students in ELL B1, B2, C1, C2 and College Readiness

ELL ONLINE SATURDAYS

  • Class meets ONLINE on Google meet
  • 9:30-12:30 Saturday mornings
  • ELL A, B and C (multi-level class)

COMPUTER BASICS 1 and 2

  • Improve practical technology skills such as basic computer, email, website navigation, and more.
  • Class meets daytime in-person
    • Computer Basics 1 : ELL A2 and B1 students
    • Computer Basics 2: ELL B2 and above and L1 students

VALUE ADDED CAREER PATHWAY WORKSHOPS

One day workshops offered throughout the year on Fridays

These workshops are for students level B1 and up

DRIVERS LICENSE PERMIT RESOURCE WORKSHOP (CLASS D) 

  • Get information and resources to prepare for the written drivers permit test

CUSTOMER SERVICE WORKSHOP

  • Develop strong customer service skills for all industries
  • Learn how to handle difficult people both in-person and over the phone 

JOB READINESS WORKSHOP

  • Learn about resume writing, job interviewing and job search

PERSONAL CARE ATTENDANT CLASS (PCA)/Community First Service and Support (CFSS) 

  • Learn about what it means to work as a PCA.
  • Gain knowledge to take and pass the PCA certificate online through the Department of Human Services 

PATIENT CARE WORKSHOP

  • Learn how to take weight and height measurements
  • Learn to take blood pressure and temperature
  • Learn skills to assist with feeding, toileting and dressing 

CPR-ADULT AND INFANT CLASS

  • Become certified in Adult and Infant CPR
  • Certificate through the American Red Cross

WORKFORCE EDUCATION 

  • English language or basic skill classes provided to local businesses for an improved workforce. 
  • Classes meet online or in-person at the business 
  • Classes are customized to the needs of the company and the employees
